Welcome to the Department of Applied Sciences. The Department was formed in 2009 and is the home Department for staff in the disciplines of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Department is also a 'virtual' home for staff teaching and students studying the disciplines that form part of the Applied Sciences Programme.

Applied science is a discipline of science that applies existing scientific more practical applications, like technology or inventions. Multidisciplinary field of engineering science that combines the biological, chemical and physical sciences with the field of engineering. Besides enhancing knowledge of students, department also focus on all round development of student by organizing co-curricular activities time to time.

B.Tech. First Year (I & II Semester)

11th and 12th Non-medical: The course is affiliated from Punjab Board of School Education. Modern high tech fully air-conditioned classrooms with smart boards and projector are available for enhanced teaching and learning process. Well equipped lab with all facilities gives practical knowledge.

B.Sc. Non Medical: It is a three year program, affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. The course is divided into six semesters. Well experienced and qualified faculty provides knowledge of various fields.

B.Tech First Year (I & II Semester) : This program is affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University , Bhatinda. A four year program whose foundation begins in Applied Sciences Department. Basic knowledge is provided to the student to make them eminent engineers.
