B.Tech

For admission to B. Tech. course, the candidate must have appeared in AIEEE-2016(All India Engineering Entrance Exam) conducted by CBSE, New Delhi and counseling done by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Admission shall be made on the basis of AIEEE rank. The candidate must also fulfill the following conditions:

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with the one of the following subjects;

• Chemistry
• Biology
• Biotechnology
• Computer Science

OR

Passed 10th or 10+2 examination with science stream and Passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal School of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET),

OR

Any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.

OR

Have passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal School of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.
A limited number of students are also admitted to the course against the management seats.

For admission to M.Tech.course, the candidate must have appeared in GATE 2016 and must have cleared B.Tech with 60 % marks in stream in which he/she is seeking for admission.

Master of Business Administration

The admission to this course will be based on merit in the state level entrance test, Management Entrance Test (MET-2016) to be conducted by University, provided the candidate is eligible for admission. The candidate seeking admission to MBA should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• A candidate who has passed any recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three year duration in any discipline with 50% marks.

The eligibility for admission shall be as per the notification of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from time to time.

A limited number of seats are also filled through management quota based on:

1. MET-2016

OR

2. CAT, MAT,XAT Score

OR

3. Merit in Qualifying Exam( Percentage in Graduation)

The admission to this course shall be based on merit in the qualifying exam. The candidate seeking admission to PGDM should meet the following eligibility criteria:
A candidate who has passed any recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three year duration in any discipline with 50% marks.
The eligibility for admission shall be as per the notification of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from time to time.

Master in Computer Applications

The admission to this course will be based on merit in the state level entrance test, Punjab Admission to MCA Common Aptitude Test (PAM-CAT-2016) to be conducted by University, provided the candidate is eligible for admission. The candidate seeking admission to MCA should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• All those candidates who have passed any recognized bachelor’s degree of 3 year duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 School Level or have passed BCA course of minimum three year duration from any recognized University.
  The eligibility for admission shall be as per the notification of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from time to time.

A limited number of seats are also filled through management quota based on:

Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

The minimum qualification for admission to B.Pharmacy Course is:

Should be pass with 50% in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects

• Mathematics
• Bio-Technology
• Computer Science
• Biology

OR

All those candidates who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training / Punjabi University, Patiala or any other University or any State Board of Technical Education provided that the diploma or the institute duly approved by the PCI/AICTE.
Admission shall be done purely on the basis of merit in qualifying exam.

The minimum qualification for admission to D.Pharmacy Course is:

Should be pass with 50 % in 10+2 (Medical or Non-Medical) with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects

• Mathematics
• Biology

Admission shall be done purely on the basis of merit in qualifying exam.

B.Arch

Selection to the B. Arch. programme is done through

• Aptitude test NATA (National Aptitude Test of Architecture) conducted by Council of Architecture New Delhi. Minimum 80 marks out of 200.
• 10+2 with Maths
• AIEEE - All India Entrance test conducted by CBSE

Admission is based on marks in qualifying exam and score obtained in the Aptitude Test NATA in ratio of 50:50.

Bachelor in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (B.HMCT)

The minimum qualification for admission to BHMCT Course is:

• Should be pass with 50% in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board.

Admission shall be done purely on the basis of merit in qualifying exam.

The minimum qualification for admission to DHMCT Course is:

• Should be pass with 50 % in 10+2 Examination in any stream from a recognized board

Admission shall be done purely on the basis of merit in qualifying exam.

MBA

Candidate seeking admission to MBA should meet the following eligibility criteria:

• A candidate who has the minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities with minimum 60 % marks.

Admission to the programme shall also be made on basis of merit in Qualifying Exam and due weight age shall be given to

• State level Entrance Test
• MAT/CAT/XAT Scores
• Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Diploma: Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application

• A candidate who has the minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50 % marks.
• Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

• A candidate who has the minimum qualification of 10+2 in any stream with 50 % marks.
• Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

• A candidate who has the minimum qualification of 10+2 in any stream with 50 % marks.
• Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

• A candidate who has the minimum qualification of 10+2 in Non-Medical/Medical stream with 50 % marks.
• Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.

Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com)

• A candidate who has the minimum qualification of 10+2 in Commerce Stream with 50 % marks.
• Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.
